Ground Beef Rebellion
At Rattlesnake Meat Company, we raise Black Angus cattle in the heart of the Rattlesnake Creek sub basin in South Central Kansas. Our name comes from the creek that runs through our pastures, where our cattle spend nearly their entire lives grazing native prairie grasses under wide Kansas skies. For the last three months before butcher, we supplement their diet with a locally sourced mix of distiller’s grain, alfalfa, and Kansas corn to ensure rich flavor and marbling.
Matt and Marci Wooster bring years of hands-on ranching experience from Georgia, Wyoming, and Kansas. Matt manages everything from calving schedules to feed rations, while Marci keeps things running at home and helps out wherever needed. Our beef is never implanted with growth hormones, and we will never—never—use mRNA vaccines, no matter the pressure.
