Magnesium Complex

Omega Clarity

Vitamin K2/D3 (Plus Calcium)
A daytime baseline for stable mood and clear thinking
Built for steady daytime emotional balance without sedation – mood-pathway support, meaningful magnesium support, DHA-led brain and eye lipids, and the K2/D3 foundation working together.
Mood supports the chemical pathways most directly tied to emotional steadiness. 5-HTP (50 mg per capsule, 100 mg per day at recommended use) is the building block your brain uses to make serotonin – the chemical most directly tied to mood stability. Curcumin C3 Complex 150 mg supports the neuroinflammatory-signaling layer through pathways the body uses to resolve inflammatory activity in the brain. Active-form B6 (P5P) and B12 (methylcobalamin) serve as the conversion enzymes your body needs for both serotonin and dopamine synthesis. Lithium orotate 5 mg per capsule (10 mg per day at recommended use) is a small supplemental dose – roughly 1/100th the dose of prescription lithium carbonate – with evidence for steady mood at supplemental ranges.
Magnesium is a mineral your body relies on for hundreds of everyday cellular processes – the kind of role nutritionists call a workhorse. The pathways most relevant to daytime function: stress-hormone regulation (magnesium status correlates inversely with circulating cortisol), the brain's natural calming system (the same receptor pathway that benzodiazepines target, engaged at a supportive level rather than as a drug), and the smooth-muscle relaxation that keeps everything from blood vessels to digestion working properly. Magnesium Complex provides multiple complementary forms per label – different forms reach different tissues, so some are better absorbed in the gut, others cross into the brain more readily, others support muscular function. Most people on a typical Western diet run below the recommended daily intake. Two capsules daily; splitting the dose across the day can improve absorption versus a single bolus.
Omega Clarity is a 5.1:1 DHA-dominant fish oil per the supplement facts label – 460 mg DHA and 90 mg EPA per serving. DHA leads in two ways: structurally, as a major fatty acid in brain, retinal, and cardiovascular membranes and roughly 8% of brain dry weight; and through resolution-phase signaling, as the substrate the body uses to make DHA-derived resolvins and protectins. The smaller EPA dose remains a supporting contribution to prostaglandin balance, without carrying the primary anti-inflammatory claim. Lutemax 2020 supplies lutein and zeaxanthin – the two carotenoids that concentrate in the macula of your eye and filter high-energy blue light to reduce oxidative stress on retinal tissue.
K2/D3 closes the stack with vitamin D – used in mood regulation, immune function, and bone health – paired with K2, which directs calcium toward your bones rather than your arteries. D3 dose is 5,000 IU per capsule, 10,000 IU per day at the 2-capsule recommended use. Vitamin D status correlates with mood outcomes in observational research; the broader vitamin D pathway is connected to serotonin synthesis modulation, inflammatory cytokine regulation, and the neurosteroid pathway. K2 works as the routing signal that tells calcium where to go – into bone matrix rather than soft-tissue deposits.
Designed for daily steadiness rather than acute symptom relief. The actives work on different timescales – magnesium and 5-HTP within days to weeks, vitamin D and DHA on longer arcs – and the effect compounds with sustained use.
Why these pairings
Six combinations. Each one pairs two products that work on complementary daytime mechanisms. Pick a pair on the right to see the two products together.
Is this stack right for you?
Who Daytime Calm fits, and who should hold off.
This stack may be right for you if…
- You experience daytime stress, mood volatility, or low-grade anxiety. Daytime Calm pairs Mood's serotonin-pathway support with mineral support from Magnesium Complex, brain lipid support from Omega Clarity, and the vitamin D foundation from K2/D3.
- You want emotional steadiness without sedation. Daytime Calm is designed to support nervous-system regulation while keeping you alert and functional throughout the day.
- You're building a coordinated daily supplement regimen and want a stack that pairs cleanly with Sleep at night, Focus during work, or other targeted stacks.
- You eat a typical Western diet and likely run below the recommended daily intake on magnesium, DHA, or vitamin D – which describes most US adults.
- You prefer active-form B-vitamins. Mood uses P5P (B6) and methylcobalamin (B12) – the converted forms your body uses directly without additional conversion steps.
Skip this stack if…
- You take antidepressants or migraine medication. This stack includes 5-HTP – check with your provider before use. See Before You Start for more.
- You take blood thinners. This stack includes vitamin K2 – check with your provider before use.
- You take prescription lithium. This stack includes a low supplemental dose of lithium orotate – check with your prescriber before use.
- You're pregnant or breastfeeding. This stack has not been studied in these populations.
Things people ask
What's the difference between Daytime Calm and the Sleep stack?
Daytime Calm and Sleep work on overlapping pathways with different goals. Sleep contains 10 mg of melatonin per serving plus St. John's Wort, GABA precursors, and other actives intended to initiate and consolidate sleep – the stack is designed to bring you down at bedtime.
Daytime Calm contains no melatonin, no St. John's Wort, no GABA precursors. It's designed for daytime emotional steadiness and nervous-system regulation without sedation. Many customers run both: Daytime Calm during waking hours, Sleep at bedtime.
Will Mood's 5-HTP make me drowsy during the day?
5-HTP at the disclosed 50 mg per capsule (100 mg per day at recommended use) is well below the doses associated with sedation in clinical studies, which typically start at 300 mg per day. Most customers tolerate Mood's 5-HTP without daytime drowsiness.
If you experience drowsiness, taking both capsules in the evening rather than morning-plus-evening is one adjustment to consider – it moves the serotonergic load to a window where slight drowsiness aligns with bedtime rather than working hours.
I take an antidepressant – can I use Daytime Calm?
Check with your healthcare provider first. This stack includes 5-HTP (in Mood), which works on the same pathway as many antidepressants, so it's worth a quick conversation before combining them.
If your provider would rather you skip the 5-HTP, the other three products in Daytime Calm – Magnesium Complex, Omega Clarity, and K2/D3 – don't have that consideration and can be taken on their own.
I'm already taking another stack with K2/D3 – do I double up?
No. K2/D3 appears as an anchor product in four of our stacks (Daytime Calm, Daily Foundation, Women's Wellness, Healthy Brain). The product is identical across all four. Take 2 capsules per day total regardless of how many K2/D3-containing stacks you're running.
Vitamin D3 at 10,000 IU per day is at the upper end of supplemental dose guidance. For chronic use we recommend a 25-hydroxyvitamin D serum check every three to six months with your physician, with a therapeutic target of 30 to 60 ng/mL.
How long until I notice anything from Daytime Calm?
Different actives operate on different timescales. Magnesium's effects on stress regulation and sleep quality can show within days for some customers. 5-HTP's serotonergic effects typically take two to four weeks of consistent daily use to register.
Vitamin D3 takes longer – serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D rises slowly, with measurable changes typically visible at six to twelve weeks. DHA membrane incorporation and resolution-phase support operate on a months-to-year timeline. The stack is designed for sustained daily use, not acute symptom relief.
Round it out with…
Common additions for customers building a daily regimen with Daytime Calm.
Daytime Calm is targeted; Complete Multivitamin is foundational. Customers wanting baseline coverage (vitamins A, C, E, full B-spectrum, broader minerals) alongside Daytime Calm's targeted mood-and-nervous-system layer can stack the two without composition overlap.
Adds the full B-vitamin spectrum on top of Mood's targeted B6 and B12. Folate, biotin, pantothenic acid, niacin, thiamin, and riboflavin in active forms support broader methylation and energy metabolism alongside Daytime Calm's mood-pathway approach.
