Vitamin K2 and D3 solve a problem most people don’t know they have: D3 increases calcium absorption, but without K2 to direct where that calcium goes, it can accumulate in soft tissue and arteries instead of bone. K2 activates the proteins that put calcium into bone and keep it out of arteries. This formula ensures both sides of the equation are covered in one dose.

Vitamin D3 – the absorption driver.
D3 (cholecalciferol) increases the expression of calcium transport proteins in the intestine, substantially raising how much calcium you absorb from food. Where that calcium goes after absorption is the other half.
Vitamin K2 (MK-7) – the routing mechanism.
K2 activates two critical proteins: osteocalcin, which pulls calcium into bone matrix, and Matrix Gla Protein (MGP), which actively removes calcium from soft tissue and arterial walls. Without adequate K2, calcium absorbed under D3 supplementation has no direction signal – research links low K2 status to arterial calcification even in people taking D3. MK-7 is the superior K2 form: it has a half-life of 72 hours versus 1–2 hours for MK-4, producing sustained blood levels from a single daily dose.
