Ultimate Detox
Cleanse Support
Ultimate Detox is a short-term cleanse formula – designed for 7–14 day use, not daily supplementation. It works across three mechanisms: fiber and mucilage to bulk, bind, and move waste through the gut; Cape Aloe as a gentle stimulant laxative to accelerate transit; and supporting actives for chlorophyll-based detox, antimicrobial coverage, and digestive motility.
Detox formulas are often used like daily supplements. This one isn’t – it’s designed for short windows of intentional gut cleansing, and the compound that makes it effective is also the reason it’s not meant for ongoing use.
The fiber and mucilage layer.
Psyllium husk forms a gel in the gut that bulks stool, draws in water, and supports regular, complete elimination. Slippery Elm produces mucilage – a thick coating gel that soothes the intestinal lining during the cleansing phase and protects it from irritation. Inulin is a prebiotic fiber that feeds beneficial gut bacteria during and after the cleanse, rather than leaving the microbiome depleted when it ends.
Cape Aloe – why it works, and why it’s short-term.
Cape Aloe (Aloe ferox leaf, 18% aloin standardization) is a stimulant laxative – it directly stimulates the colon wall to contract and accelerate transit. This is the active ingredient that makes the formula noticeably effective. It’s designed for occasional use, not daily supplementation; extended use of stimulant laxatives can lead to the colon becoming dependent on the stimulus for normal motility. Seven to fourteen days is the appropriate window.
The supporting actives.
Chlorella binds to heavy metals and environmental toxins in the gut through a process called chelation – supporting their elimination before they’re absorbed. Black Walnut hulls add antiparasitic coverage via juglone, the compound responsible for their traditional use in gut cleanse protocols. Ginger stimulates digestive motility and reduces the nausea that can accompany accelerated elimination. Papaya enzymes support protein digestion throughout the cleanse.

Fiber Bulk Laxative
Psyllium
+
−
Psyllium husk (Plantago ovata) forms a gel in the gut that bulks stool and promotes regular, complete elimination by drawing in water and increasing transit mass. The prebiotic fiber also feeds beneficial gut bacteria. The foundational fiber in clinical detox and gut motility protocols.
02
Heavy Metal Chelation
Chlorella
+
−
Chlorella (Chlorella vulgaris) binds to heavy metals and environmental toxins in the gastrointestinal tract – a process called chelation – supporting their elimination before they're absorbed. Chlorella's structured cell wall is the binding agent; broken-cell processing maximizes the available binding surface.
03
Antiparasitic Support
Black Walnut
+
−
Black Walnut (Juglans regia hulls) contains juglone – a compound with documented activity against intestinal parasites and pathogenic fungi. Traditional use in gut cleanse and parasite-support protocols. The hulls (not the nut) are the active source. Adds antiparasitic breadth to the formula's cleansing scope.
04
Gut Lining Protection
Slippery Elm
+
−
Slippery Elm (Ulmus rubra bark) produces a thick mucilage – a natural gel that coats and soothes the intestinal lining, protecting it from irritation during the formula's active cleansing phase. Traditionally used to calm gut inflammation and support mucosal integrity during elimination protocols.
05
Prebiotic Support
Inulin
+
−
Inulin passes undigested to the large intestine where it feeds Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium – the beneficial gut bacteria that support a healthy microbiome. During and after the formula's active cleansing phase, inulin supports microbiome balance and recovery.
06
Digestive Motility
Ginger
+
−
Ginger (Zingiber officinale root) stimulates digestive motility – the rhythmic contractions that move contents through the gut – and reduces the nausea associated with accelerated elimination. Also has direct anti-inflammatory effects on gut tissue. Complements the stimulant laxative action without abruptness.
07
Stimulant Laxative
Cape Aloe
+
−
Cape Aloe (Aloe ferox leaf, 18% aloin standardization) stimulates gut muscle contractions that move contents toward elimination. The most potent active in this formula. Designed for short-term use; the 18% aloin specification ensures consistent stimulant laxative activity.
