Ultra Turmeric
Inflammation Support
Ultra Turmeric solves the problem most turmeric supplements ignore: curcumin – the active compound in turmeric – has notoriously poor absorption on its own. This formula pairs 800mg of full-spectrum turmeric powder with 100mg of 95% curcuminoid extract and 10mg of BioPerine® black pepper extract, which substantially increases how much curcumin actually makes it into your bloodstream.
Turmeric supplements have an absorption problem. Curcumin – the compound responsible for turmeric’s documented anti-inflammatory effects – absorbs poorly when taken alone. Studies show bare curcumin powder reaches maybe 1–2% absorption. This formula addresses that in two ways.
Two turmeric sources, one formula.
The 800mg of full-spectrum turmeric powder carries the complete polyphenol profile – curcuminoids plus the supporting plant matrix they naturally occur in. The additional 100mg of 95% curcuminoid extract delivers a concentrated, research-anchored dose on top. Together they replicate the approach used in clinical turmeric research more closely than a single-source formula does.
Why BioPerine® changes the equation.
BioPerine® (10mg, 95% piperine from black pepper) inhibits the liver enzymes that break down curcumin before it reaches full circulation – the same enzymes that make plain curcumin absorb so poorly. Research shows piperine can increase curcumin bioavailability by up to 2000%. Without it, most of what you swallow passes through. Take with food; dietary fat improves absorption further.
What curcumin actually does.
Curcumin modulates NF-κB and COX-2 – the two central switches of the body’s inflammatory response. This is the same pathway that anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen target, through a gentler mechanism with a different safety profile. The anti-inflammatory effects extend to joints, brain tissue, and the gut lining.
